POV Camera Information
We use multiple different cameras to film our POVS.
Below is a list of what we use with photos for easier reference.
- GoPro Hero 5 Black – This camera can help showcase a rides smoothness, and showcase a true feel of a coaster. If it has a few bumps or you want to give your audience a true POV this is the camera to choose.
- GoPro Hero 7 Black – This camera can help smooth out rides, bumps, pot holes etc. It uses “Hypersmooth” to make sure nothing shakes. This also leads to a less realistic POV but it is better if you want something perfect. If you want to make sure its smooth, this is the camera to choose.
- iVue Rincon – This camera really is not a “Camera.” This can be used if you dont want or allow mounting. These are Camera Glasses. They can help showcase a ride from the persons / riders exact angle. (These can lead to minor rough POVS- be aware) If you like this, this is the camera to choose.
